A silicosis scam

When 20,000 plaintiffs filed silicosis cases in Texas and Mississippi over an 18-month period, it appeared something was "rotten in the state of Denmark," to quote Hamlet (which I sometimes do to give my blog entries that uppity literary feel). Well, something was amiss alright. How about a little collusion between lawyers, doctors and those working in environments known for the presence of particulate matter?
