Not hiring

I guess no one is having trouble hiring and keeping good people at their companies these days, judging by the meager attendance at NSSGA’s recent Aggregates Industry Workforce Conference. Pit & Quarry Associate Editor Troy Sympson was there, and reports that many of the topics discussed – multi-lingual employees, applicant screening, hiring from within, hiring new mining engineers – are critical to the success of aggregates operations.
